I've taken an interest in Old Paris ink wells lately. I have bought three. I think there is a collection growing in these.
|This one is what one would expect in Old Paris. One container is for the ink and the other is for the pounce ( or "sand" ) to dry the ink on the paper.|
|This one has a place for the man's pocket watch to rest at night. The two containers are missing. I am sure I can find replacements.|
|This one is complete with a family crest.|
