I've seen no other examples on ebay, google images, or even pinterest. These layer cake pans still have the original paper labels glued inside. The 1980's price tags are still on the back: over $300 each. I am sure the pans are still around, but the paper labels had to be destroyed to use the pan. These were never used and therefore are preserved as they came from the store. I am sure they are quite rare !
Holy cats!!! Those are amazing! I wonder how much they sold for originally LOL. ~Robin~

ReplyDeleteI would say you should take the pans to the Antique Roadshow. Have never seen anything similar. Paper labels don’t stay around too long on anything . Must have been purchased by a lady who thought she wanted to learn to bake but decided against it.
wonderful find. I just love finding an old treasure like those
ReplyDeleteYou won't find anything about them due to the woke cancel culture in this country. My buddy and his wife is at an auction this second and there a is a layer cake pan and a biscuit pan up for auction. The only thing is, you can't sale this stuff anywhere online.
